Safina and the Hat Tree
"Safina and the Hat Tree" is a personal journey of the author, Cynthia Hartman, a preschool teacher who has been diagnosed with cancer. She has used the experiences she had at the childcare centre, and with her family, to write this book.

The book includes some of the interactions she had with the children on her return to work after surgery and chemo therapy.

Together with the children, she embarks on a journey of fun and hope through the use of a collection of hats from her hat tree.
